After 32 years in Alaska, our decision to move to Maine to begin our twilight years together was not as difficult as finding a real estate agent or team once we arrived. We had been in Maine almost 4 weeks, had contacted 7 real estate agents from their ads, to which 3 returned our call. Out of the 3, none were willing to help us outside their office area. Driving through Lincoln, out of sheer frustration we pulled into Remax Collaborative and walked in. We were cheerfully greeted by Chelsea Ireland who took down all our information, set up a time for us to see a few houses we had saved and a few we hadn’t seen. The second time we went out, we found our home. Chelsea, Katelyn, and Mike have given of themselves entirely and fully as professionals, showing compassion, knowledge, respect and courtesy to our wants, needs and financial abilities. Their attentiveness to detail, local mortgage companies, insurance, as well as Veterinary Hospital, Physicians, etc., went above and beyond all our expectations. I definitely recommend Christopher Ireland / Re/Max for your real estate needs in Maine. I’m from Massachusetts and thought it would be difficult to sell my property, traveling back & forth. Everything was done online and a few phone calls. From beginning to end he kept us well informed of every step and made the experience so easy.

Chris went above and beyond to help us find our dream property. He spent over a year sending us listings, answering questions, driving all over the great state of Maine, and showing properties that might have fit our needs. He advocated for us when necessary and was always honest and knowledgeable. The end of our journey with Chris was the start of a new lifelong journey living off grid in beautiful Mt Chase and it never would have been possible without Chris.
